We believe great coffee lends itself to great cake, some made right in front of you.
See the flour being mixed and the eggs being cracked, smell the freshly-baked cake, exchange baking tips with our bakers!
We try to always have our house brownies, which fly out of the door, and many come especially for them (next time you are around, try them as a dessert, with some cream / ice-cream).
Alongside them, we have both modern and traditional cakes, and a number of award-winning gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan cakes.
Some favourites include:
- pear, parsnip and salted caramel cake (GF)
- lime, courgette and coconut butter cake (both GF *and* dairy-free)
- peanut butter cupcakes (vegan)
- possibly the best-ever carrot cake (you be the judge!)
We are currently working to develop a range of healthier low-sugar cakes, and ones for special diets, and welcome collaborators and ideas.
